2.5 miles around the lake open to bikers and runners. paddlboarding and boating out on the lake. There is also a small nature reserve called Duck Island in the center of the lake.

Rose Garden
Open since 1925.
Stroll through 2.5 acres of formal landscape and enjoy nearly 3000 roses representing over 200 different varieties. Since 2006 the Rose Garden has been pesticide-free.

Troll
Fremont used to be more of an industrial district, which drews artists to come live in the area due to lower cost of living. Fremont became the art center of Seattle. Tradition of pop up art was part of the culture. The troll was part of a community project to promote the arts.
