I chose to work on this exchange project because it allowed me to connect with Seattle. As a student who has to keep a careful budget, I did not realize how many fun, affordable experiences there were until I actively sought them out. Despite Seattle's reputation of being a modern, innovative tech hub, there is still so much cultural, artistic and industrial history present. The city's vibrant art culture, natural beauty and history can be explored at no cost to you.

I hope that this guide will be helpful for future international students visiting Seattle. It is such an expansive city, that sometimes it's difficult to know where to begin on your first visit. The natural beauty of the city and it's many hidden gems, offers many memorable experiences to those who can find them.
